R]The Ministry of Education, Science, Culture and Sport of Georgia will fund the publication of seven literary magazines

A specially created Contest Committee, whose members were: Ivane Amirkhanashvili (Literature Institute representative), Tea Tvalavadze (Deputy Director of G. Leonidze Museum of Literature), Vakhtang Magradze (Arn. Chikobava Institute of Linguistics, Researcher), Loreta Shengelia (Ap. Kutateladze Academy of Arts, lecturer, painter) and Levan Taktakishvili (National Library's Library Resources Department, director) has identified the magazines that will be funded in 2020 by the Ministry of Education, Science, Culture and Sport of Georgia


These magazines are:


Children's literary magazines - Dila (35,000 GEL) and Chocolate (25,000 GEL).


Literary magazines - "Tsiskari" (36,000 GEL), "Arili" (40,000 GEL) and "Akhali Saunje" (40,000 GEL), "Afinaj" (12,000 GEL) and "Ebguri" (12,100 GEL).


The Writers' House announced a contest of literary magazines on January 9th. Seven applications were submitted. Two magazines were presented at the children's magazine contest: "Dila" and "Chocolate". At the literary magazines contest there were five magazines: Aril, Apinaj, Ebguri, Tsiskari and Akhali Saunje.
