On October 1-10, the interdisciplinary festival of Georgian culture "Bridge: Zurich - Tbilisi" will be held in Zurich. The aim of the festival is to introduce Georgian contemporary art and culture, to create a network of cooperation and to deepen the cultural dialogue between the two countries.
The founder and head of the festival is Elene Chechelashvili, President of the Association "Georgian Culture Platform".
The festival is supported by the Writers' House, the National Film Center and the Embassy of Georgia in Switzerland.
The festival will present a diverse program to the Swiss audience. The program includes different genres: literature, music, cinema, architecture and art. The program was planned and is implemented in cooperation with the leading cultural institutions of Zurich, such as: "Film Podium", "House of Literature", "Cabaret Voltaire", "Center of Architecture" and "Kunstraum Walcheturm".
In the future, the festival "Bridge: Zurich - Tbilisi" will be held in Tbilisi with a similar program.
